As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work in a high-impact environment, automating workflows, optimizing infrastructure, and enabling rapid software deployment for defense and aerospace systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical applications.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and ensure system reliability.
  • Implement and maintain containerized environments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalability solutions.
  • Document processes, configurations, and workflows for transparency and continuity.

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and compliance frameworks.
  • Previous experience working in defense or government sectors
