Job Description:
As a Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing database solutions that ensure secure, efficient, and scalable access to vital program data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-performance database environments in AWS and Azure, while adhering to strict security and compliance standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support mission-critical systems and contribute to the success of tactical military operations.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage databases in AWS and Azure environments.
Develop and maintain database infrastructure for program engineering data access.
Manage, configure, and optimize databases to ensure performance and reliability.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams on upgrades and testing.
Maintain database security, integrity, and disaster recovery solutions.
Formulate database policies and standards while improving system performance.
Provide Tier III support and troubleshoot database issues.
Write documentation, including metadata, procedures, and standards.
Conduct capacity planning and ensure storage/archiving procedures function correctly.
Apply patches, migrate code, and install/configure third-party integrated products.
Qualifications:
